Dr. White is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and U.T. Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He completed his residency in general surgery at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas. He has been practicing in North Texas since 1982. He has served as chief of surgery at Methodist Richardson Medical Center and Medical Center of Plano. He is a past president of the medical staff at Baylor Regional Medical Center in Plano. He is board certified in general surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a past president of the Parkland Surgical Society. He is trained in robotic surgery and advanced techniques in minimally invasive surgery. Dr. White is the medical director of the Trauma Team of surgeons at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Plano. He has been named Texas Super Doctor in the Texas Monthly publication. He has also been named in D Magazine as one of the best doctors in Collin County. Dr. White is happily married to his wife Brenda, and they have two children and three grandchildren. They are active members of Prestonwood Baptist Church.
